Welcome to Same Day Podiatry. The midland's heart of advanced podiatry practice and foot and ankle medicine. We are a dedicated and highly skilled team of government registered advanced foot experts. With us, you get much more than a typical Podiatrist. Any Podiatrist you see will be master's degree qualified, an independent prescriber and will be able to demonstrate that they work at consultant level practice or similar in line with the National Competency Framework for Podiatrists.
Our qualifications and experience mean we can offer significantly more treatment options that you are unlikely to get on the NHS. We can treat any lower limb problem you may have. We offer a comprehensive package of services including callus and corn removal, nail surgery, verruca management, foot pain management, musculoskeletal assessment, diabetic foot care, foot ulcer treatment, orthotic therapy, bespoke footwear manufacture, gait analysis, paediatric conditions, and much more.

Your foot alignment and position can have a remarkable effect on your physical activity and performance. You may not even realise it. Problems like flat feet, tight muscles and abnormal gait patterns are known to increase your risk of pain and dysfunction.
At Same Day Podiatry, we can assess your entire lower limb structure and function using our advanced knowledge of biomechanics and gait analysis. We may be able to correct any foot posture issues by using specialist bespoke orthoses to optimise how your foot functions in your shoe at a fraction of the typical price.

We are very different
At Same Day Podiatry, we have taken our training much further than your typical podiatrist and chiropodist and have all attained master's degrees in podiatric medicine on top of the standard undergraduate degree in podiatry. This means we have on average between 6-7 years training in foot disease.

This entitles us to prescribe medication similar to GPs, and offer more complex treatments (including surgery). This means we can manage your condition holistically and do not need to refer you back to your GP which 95% of UK podiatrists would need to do.

This, complemented with our years of experience acquired from working in some of the most senior NHS podiatry posts in the UK, means we can demonstrate the required standards and criteria to operate at Consultant Podiatrist level in accordance with the "Podiatry Competency Skills Framework".
Diabetes
Do you have a high-risk or vulnerable foot condition?
Some high-risk risk foot conditions like diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and peripheral vascular disease can put your feet at risk of serious problems. If you have a high-risk foot condition, you need to be confident that your podiatrist is suitably qualified and experienced to safeguard your feet.
We are at-risk foot specialists, so you should choose us if you have any high-risk foot conditions as we have specialist post-graduate training to equipt us with the necessary knowledge and skill to ensure the highest level of patient safety. All our podiatrists and chiropodists are qualified to master's degree level meaning they are recognised advanced practitioners with specialisms in managing patients with these conditions.

Corns, Callus, Nail Cutting / Follow up

Our standard podiatry/Chiropody treatment includes nail care, corn, callus and verruca debridement.
Biomechanics Assessment
£85
This comprehensive assessment is for anyone experiencing lower limb and/or foot pain. We test every joint from your hips to the tips of your toes, map out your alignment, assess your gait, walking patterns and your vascular and neurological status.
Ingrowing Toe Nail Treatment - Conservative Resection (non-surgical)
£75-165
We are probably the only service that offers this non-surgical option to remove an ingrowing toenail. It can be used to remove a mild ingrowing toe nail. This procedure is usually performed under local anaesthetic and involves cutting away the ingrowing section. This treatment option is usually for symptom management, but is not a permanent solution
Nail Surgery
One Toe - £360
Two Toes - £550
This is the price range for the full surgical procedure to permanently resolve in growing toenails. This can involve partial or full removal of a toe nail under local anaesthetic.
Verruca Freezing

This procedure involves using extremely low temperatures to destroy the verruca virus.
Verruca Needling - Surgical Procedure

This surgical procedure is the best treatment to remove verrucae. It involves numbing a part of your foot and perforating the verruca using a fine needing to encourage an immune response.

We only offer word-class insoles for our patients. Our extremely high-quality insoles are made by taking an impression of your foot. You will receive the same quality insole as football players and celebrities, but for a fraction of the cost.
Bespoke Footwear

At Same Day Podiatry, we are qualified to prescribe bespoke shoes. These can be made to accommodate foot deformities, large bunions, or diabetic foot conditions.
